Resolute K-9 LLC has been a year in the making, carefully planned and thoughtfully developed to meet a real need in the community. The idea started with a dream the dream of a 10-year-old girl who fell in love with training her own family dog and discovered the joy of helping dogs and their owners communicate better. That passion never faded.
Along the way, I realized there was a gap in the area for personalized, effective, and compassionate dog training, and I knew I could fill it.
Resolute K-9 was born from that vision: a business built on expertise, care, and a deep understanding of canine behavior. Our mission is to help owners build confident, well-mannered dogs while strengthening the bond between human and canine. From a little girl’s dream to a professional, full-service dog training business, Resolute K-9 continues to grow bringing knowledge, patience, and passion to every dog and family we work with.
About
My name is Ashley Cutshaw
My love for dog training began at just 10 years old, working with my own family dog and learning the basics of communication and behavior. By age 14, I took my first official training class through a co-op program, where I continued for three years, gaining hands-on experience and deepening my understanding of canine behavior. From there, I pursued formal education at Starmark Academy, where I honed my skills and learned advanced training techniques. I later earned my AKC Evaluator Certification, allowing me to guide dogs and owners toward achieving official titles and recognition. Today, I continue to grow as a trainer while raising and training my own three dogs, combining personal experience, professional knowledge, and a genuine passion for helping owners build strong, lasting bonds with their dogs.
